Their cinnamon is especially high-quality and incredibly aromatic, and their cinnamon rolls are something you should definitely experience. The pastries are made by a pastry chef with over 50 years of experience. The dough is wonderfully delicious and practically melts in your mouth. This is my favorite café I've ever visited!

First time trying this coffee shop, and unfortunately it wasn’t a great experience. We were greeted nicely by the girl at the register and ordered a sandwich and 2 coffees, but then I noticed she was passing the restroom key back and forth to customers, handling cash, and making my sandwich without gloves or washing her hands. That honestly made me uncomfortable, so I had to decline the sandwich. I mean who would eat that? The staff handled the situation politely, refunded my order, and even offered a card for a free sandwich or a cinnamon roll. I appreciated the gesture, but decided to give it to another customer and leave. We won’t go back.

Moonwood coffee is amazing, bold flavors and friendly staff. I have bought coffee beans from them since they were still operating out of their home and I have missed their products since moving away from Huntington Beach! So glad I had time to stop in on my visit and get a delicious latte and some coffee beard to bring back home with me!

We had the pleasure of working with Moonwood Coffee to cater our mom’s surprise 70th birthday party and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. From our first interaction, Alecia (co-owner) was incredibly responsive, clear, and easy to work with. She replied to emails promptly and made the entire planning process stress-free. We visited their shop on Adams to sample their coffee offerings and when we told Alecia that mom is partial to Colombian beans, she gave us a whole bag to sample and said they will serve it on the event if she liked it instead of their house blend! She also suggested having a drink custom made for my mom which was such a thoughtful touch. Their pricing is competitive, and they offer a wide variety of options that can be tailored to your event’s budget and venue. Even though Moonwood Coffee works with larger clients like school districts, we always felt like a top priority. Alecia made sure every detail was handled with care and attention. On the day of the event, our barista, Cameron, arrived early, set up ahead of schedule, and stayed through the entire event. The coffee was outstanding—every guest commented on how delicious their drinks were!

Moonwood Coffee is our new favorite coffee shop and bakery/catering solution! From the minute you step I to the coffee shop, you know you're in for some heavenly goodness! We ordered a gourmet box of cookies online and picked up other baked items to try as well as coffee to go. I tried the Iced Cedar Cinnamon coffee, which was rich and smooth but not too sweet. The baked items were very fresh and delicious! Moonwood started as a catering business, and have since opened the current brick and mortar location a year ago, I am so happy and wishing them continued success! They just gained a new FAN!
